This is a BRAND NEW Low Speed CLUTCH MOTOR for Industrial Sewing Machines.The motor is 1/2 H.P. 400 watts Single Phase 110 Volts 1725 R.P.M.   INCLUDES PULLEY (EMAIL SIZE).This Highest Quality motor comes complete with a wire harness and push button ON-OFF switch . Just bolt it onto your table using the included table bolts.This motor is Low Speed (1725 RPM ) so it is used on WALKING FOOT DOUBLE NEEDLE CYLINDER BED or BLINDSTITCH machines. It is NOT recommended for Single Needle or Overlock machines which should have HIGH SPEED motors (3450 R.P.M.)Unfortunately many sewing machine dealers use High Speed motors on Walking Foot Machines. This is just NOT a good way to go! It forces the dealer to put a very small pulley on the motor to slow it down so the surface area of contact between the V Belt and the pulley is very small. This makes the machine hard to control and very difficult to run SLOWLY.This motor is the highest quality that we have ever seen and is ISO 9002 Certified .The motor has a built in switch to change the rotation of the pulley.The center Bolt & Nut assembly allows for precise up & down positioning of the motor for perfect belt tension .This World Class Quality Motor uses standard #6203DS bearings that replace easily so that this motor will give you years of service.There are many different Quality Levels for this type of Clutch Motor. These windings must be completely and uniformly coated with insulation or the windings will short out or overheat. This will result in a loss of power or complete failure. And it will almost always happen on a very hot day! The problem for the buyer is that it is impossible to tell what kind of job the motor factory did.BEWARE of very inexpensive Clutch Motors !
